Theoretical Models Explaining the Level of Digital Competence in Students

In the new global scene, digital skills are a key skill for students to seize learning opportunities, train meet demands of labor market, and compete in while also communicating effectively their everyday academic lives. This article presents research aimed at relating impact personal variables on competence technical problem solving Spanish from 12 14 years old. A quantitative methodology with cross-sectional design was employed. sample 772 18 educational institutions used. For data collection, an assessment test designed (ECODIES®) based validated indicator model evaluate learners’ (INCODIES®), taking as European framework development competence. Mediation models were used theoretical reference created. The results allowed us verify influence personal, technology use, attitudinal improvement solving. findings lead conclusion that gender, acquisition devices, regular use do not determine better level
